The AVCI (American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute) recommends that a mechanical watch should have a complete overhaul every 3-4 years. Toner Jewelry wants to help you take the steps to insure the proper function of your investment.

Does Your Watch Needs Servicing?

1. It is gaining or loosing significant time.
2. After being worn all day and keeping appropriate time, it looses significant time or stops running while not being worn during the night.

1. Our certified watchmaker will methodically disassemble your entire watch piece by piece.
2. All parts are ultrasonically cleaned, degreased and individually inspected for any signs of excessive wear.
3. The case back seal, crystal seal and crown gaskets are replaced with new seals and gaskets.
4. The watchmaker will then carefully refinish the watch case, the bracelet and the bezel to remove scuff marks and scratches so that your watch will look almost as good as it looked when it was brand new.
5. All moving parts are lubricated with only the highest grade lubricants and oils during the reassembly process.
6. Once your watch has been completely reassembled, it is thoroughly tested to our exact standards over a period of 72 hours to assure accuracy, water resistance, and proper operation of all functionality. Any required adjustments will be made accordingly.
